Till Reason Intervened

I had nearly touched the spire Wherein reason intervened-- And labeled hope a liar, So the council then convened. But the quorum in its meeting Felt discourse a useless thing, For hope is always fleeting... Even with the slightest wing. ~Mel

Why thank you, ilene! Kind of you, and encouraging. Emily is a distant cousin, and how distant is obvious from a comparison of her works, to mine. She does fascinate me, though, and is my favorite poet--poetess? Thanks again, and have a great week...xxx...Mel

Lol. Such an admission shows that you have character--or that you are a character? No matter, just keep a Thesaurus handy and you'll be good to go. Beautiful words? Okay, I'll accept that...Webster's finest :) Love to you and the kid, who is as impudent as you (look it up).
