* I'm trying out Halloween 'Harley Quinn' looks * If light is the fastest thing in the universe, why is darkness already there when light arrives? After watching Harry and Megan Sussex grub for ever more cash and attention, I’ve decided that they should start a OnlyFans site. We’re going to a booze-free dance party. “You don’t have to drink to have fun.” I assure myself, in the bathroom mirror, but somehow the event sounds like a high school dance. I’ve been reading the Internet - was it really a giant squid that sank the Titanic? ... Panpsychism Is a scientific theory postulating that consciousness is part of the fabric of the Universe. On the theological level, why would God (or nature) create the bitter taste of espresso and vivid, azure skies slashed with rainbow sunsets if stimulating consciousness weren’t important? “Colors, tastes and smells are no more than names,” Galileo declared 400 years ago. “(as perceptions) they reside only in consciousness.” Does life exist, as sensors, to experience stimuli for the galactic consciousness?

Your last question would suggest purpose, and purpose requires intelligence. The universe is non-sentient matter and energy. It does not and cannot have consciousness. On the other hand, the Great Mathematician has both consciousness and purpose, and has endowed those made in his image with the same. As for the Titanic, I'd like to think squid are benevolent creatures. Plus they're rather tasty with some hot paste

Only some cultures worshipped the sun. Certainly not the patriarchs or the Hebrews. Ditto the Christians. And yes, I'm sure stars, dark matter and asteroids are not sentient

Oh, you’re sure the universe is non-sentient? We once thought that the sun was a God, then that God was in the clouds. We’re just starting to understand things. The squid that attacked the Titanic must have had a purpose - have you seen the videos of whales attacking boats recently? It appears to be a movement.

Some big questions Anais, it’s true darkness can appear to move faster than light especially galactic shadows, but the one I always ask that probably covers all, where would the universe be if I wasn’t around to observe it? A solipsistic question perhaps, but one that has real relevance, oops you forgot the baseball bat and to smile real wide, Harley Vionet yep that could work lol, cheers David

I think the universe will click right along without us, someday - like it did before us - but I’ll admit I don’t know how it all works.
