Through the Tinted Glass

I see you through the tinted glass, you're blurry but your image like crystal pierces my mind. I hear you from behind velvet drapes, You're distant but your laughter like candlelight gently burns in my chest. I ask you from where I stand "Can you hear me? Can you see me?" hoping to find light in your silence.
