Through Permeating Leaves

-Through Permeating Leaves- Old sun Buttercup, through permeating leaves All my bugger-ups please forgive me please Forgive me like a candle when it glows Forgive me like a whistle when it blows I’ve wandered through a canyon And have walked through crooked hills I shout out my confession to the voices in my head Rolling empty canyon kept calling back at me He said he wishing I was dead But the sun kept coming up Reminding of these A sun struck yellow gold Through permeating leaves

There's hope 'tween the lines of this poetry, reminds me of wildflowers unabashedly crashing through asphalt! 7+

Everyday when the sun comes up is indeed another gift to us... I really enjoyed the beautiful imagery and rhyming throughout this poem. Nicely done, Jannie!
