Threw Me Over the Cliff
Threw Me Over the Cliff
Maybe I might drop by for a while
Tell incredible stories that could beguile
Or at times being truth seeming to say
One more great poem for I will pray.
How about poem where I took a chance
Like the time I tried to make romance
To some sweet thing I never knew before
Who thought I was being dull and a bore.
I even wrote a poem for her to read
After we had done the dirty deed
And when I went to put on my pants
Over at me she took another glance.
What would my poem possibly be about?
A whale who water out would spout
Up into air in ocean near a deserted isle
While I was going through a period of denial.
It was then that she finally did discover
That I preferred and loved another
And when of her had taken one last whiff
She went and threw me over the cliff.
