Three Wishes
I went for a walk
beneath a night's lonely sky
I was missing my love
when a glimpse caught my eye
A shooting star fell
from the heavens,dark above
I closed my eyes, made a wish
for my long lost love
I saw a fountain pool
while strolling through a mall
Reached in my pocket
the fount seemed to call
I tossed a shiny penny
closed my eyes, made a wish
To once again, very soon
feel her gentle kiss
Then it was my birthday,
mother baked a cake,
before I blew out candles
I had a wish to make
Wherever you are, my love
Wherever that may be
Know how much I love you
Please come back to me
