Thoughts On the Media
News reports
drastic wrongs,
never letting
the whole truth out.
Giving the bad
never the good,
for ratings to soar
over the top spot.
Haunted images fill
pages of ink twisted,
tormenting souls
view angry scenes.
Raising tempers into
flared dispositions,
effecting men and women
around the world.
The more violence shown
in the news,
we see more to come
knocking at our doors.
When will lessons
be learned from examples,
shown to our children
of innocence today.
Do we drive into rivers
because we saw it,
or jump off bridges
to create knowledge?
What would you say to that...?
