So tired of lying, evading, two-faced politicians who have been in office so long that, if they ever had it, have lost sight as to why they're in office. We need to rid ourselves of politicians who are not there for the people; if there are any (any more).

Thoughts of Politicians by Proxy (President-House-Senate) By Franklin Price 8/17/2016 (forward) I'm not a politician Would never want to be By looking at their actions These are the thoughts I see (proxy thoughts) What a cush job I have got Don't have to work so much The money's good from everywhere Barely have to stay in touch Expense account is limitless Just has to look like work Have staff that do the thinking So I don't look like a jerk The rich who want my favors Come to my office on the hill Say I can do a lot for you If you could only pass this bill See I get this contract With a cost plus on the page And the good things that will come to you Could not be foretold by a sage Don't worry about the people This phrase I say by rote I memorized, “I'm here for you” If it's close in time to vote (epilogue) There's so much more that I could say But I'll no longer waste my words We the people could change everything If we quit following in herds
