Thoughts Are With You
The wind is slowing down, what seemed to be a vicious fight.
The sun is lowering in blue and white sky to set for the night.
The birds are singing cheerfully again, in the left over breeze.
The trees rest from constant shaking, ending the day with ease.
I think of those who have no regular plans for the holiday.
I’ve been there with no family, and it is harder than one can say.
Prayers are with you to find comfort, however that may be.
Just know these thoughts are with you, even though you may not see.
Like the sun that will soon be set beneath these skies so bright.
No longer seen today, but in these words to bring you such a sight.
