the urge to serve is also a desire ~ is it perhaps ascension we aspire reflect oh hermit, on every craving ~ all such rants are but our ego raving

I find that I continuously need to be mindful of my intentions. Some I choose 'seem' noble but sometimes they're self serving.

We may say that whatever is not spontaneous, is egoic. Hmmm ~ this can make a great topic for discussion or a poetry contest :)
