Those Terrible Twos

There's a sense of foreboding and gloom as our government shut down now looms. Some officials are striving to fix things, while others just want to be nix kings.. All moms can remember those terrible twos, when the power struggles of a toddler gave them the blues.. What can any President do when he's stuck with such a motley crew? He must be patient and endure and he'll be there soon for another four, as their painting a future in blue..

Looks like its political craziness everywhere now. And sadly so many caught in the midst dancing to their drumrolls. Sad reality in many places! Brilliant how uv written this.

Perhaps I am just a naïve person but why would we want to empower and elect officials who don't represent their constituency? Politics is it's own theatre, especially as of late here in the US. Loved your acrostic on the Northern Lights.

I'm sick of it all, Nancy. Nothing gets fixed because there is always chaos on the hill. How can a country hope to mend when the 'leadership' plays tit for tat games? They'd rather fight like two-year-olds instead of getting anything done.
