Those Eyes

It all started on a summers day but my world was dark and gray It was about 4 months and two weeks ago The sun was high but I was feeling low We were just beginning to be friends I didn't know how well this would end PART 1 Anyway on that faithful day My day of gray You comforted me in my time of need Please don't be sad,you started to plead From that day forward My days of gray started to brighten up In each and every way I started to notice The twinkle in your eyes It would not let me despise all the bad things you did Slowly and rapidly I began to fall in love with those eyes But that's where I went wrong For everything that falls Breaks My love for those eyes Grew deeper and deeper Everyday you would sit next to me You would look at me with those eyes Those eyes that twinkle in the sun Things got a bit more serious But I miss our late night chats We used to talk to each other about everything I remember when you revealed your love of cars There was something in those eyes That made it twinkle more than before You were like a child not a care in the world You took me to to the Halloween dance Held me through that haunted house And the day ended with a hug Then you started posting WCW pics I started to ignore you Hoping I'd be missed And I was right You tricked me into hugging you At the moment It seemed your heart was true That memory had me smiling for days I thought we were on the same page Maybe I was misunderstood Or mislead By those eyes Then the unthinkable happened Your heart went to someone else I'm happy for you You finally decided Now these days No words are spoken Only the memories Replaying in our minds But every time I look at you I fall in love with those eyes all over again If I could spin back time I would go back to the day of gray And fix my mistake Of falling in love with those eyes
