Robert this is an excellent poem and in my view should have been #1 .......ful of poignancy...nice extended metaphor.... it is easily the number one poem in this group in my opinion....well done

Yep I worked today and I am working tomorrow, we are having our annual concert.. Loads of fun to see the children's faces when they saw the stage this morning ;) where is my dessert??

Wow, I have to fav this one Robert.. I love the message reminded me of a scripture in Afrikaans "werp jou brood op die water" :) stunning piece.. I had tuna salad on Provita for lunch with rooibos tea.. what is on your breakfast menu today? love from a sunny Cape Town ;)

You have used this form to write a thing of beauty and wisdom. I am sure it is a high winner. In answer to your comment. I live on the west side of Washington State off the coast the Pacific. We are warmed by the air off of the ocean. We seldom have snow here and it only lasts for a day or so, if it comes at all. Eastern Washington on the other side of the mountains does get snow and lots of it at times. Joyce
