This Political Mud Fight

These political candidates are slinging mud in the nightly news,
And have the Republicans and Democrats singing the blues.
Trump and Cruz trash each other’s wives, and do not stick to their plan,
When they should be trying to prove that they are the best man.
Trump claims to be Superman, and wants to build the wall,
But it may just cause with Mexico an all-out brawl!
With Trump and Cruz each day it is a different, sleazy fight.
They need to take the high road, and be the country’s shining light.
The Democrats have their own set of problems too,
With Sander’s socialism and Hillary’s emails, troubles brew…
The country is the one that suffers with all this mess,
And the candidate that finally wins will be a product of the press.
