This Poem

"This Poem" I heard, "You seem to be different!" "What is going on with you? There's a change, because it's somewhat strange how you do these new things that you do!" You've always got a pen in your hand with "that look in your eyes too!" Then out of nowhere, quite literally, right out of the blue", "You start composing, thinking and speaking in poetic ways! So that's why I ask.... "What is up with you these days?" "Yes!" I replied, "You are correct, correct in every way! Like a songwriter that has a song in their heart I've a Poem I need to write today!" It is unlike anything there is! Arranging and writing poetic thought, and crafting the process of having the words say exactly what they ought! A poem originates from the thoughts of the heart! When linked to the thoughts of the mind, they give impetus to creative expression to write a poem that's one of a kind! "So yes!....If I seem consumed and sometimes deeply pre-occupied, Yes, there is something a stirring deeply and poetically inside!" "Like all Poets, I've this strong desire to express in a poetic way! A poem poetically purposed to be like "This Poem" one reads today!"

Fantastic Walter. I have the same feeling. I'll be doing something at work and I'll email myself a thought for a poem. Loved this.

Very good, Walter! Tell me... after you've written a rhyming poem, do you start talking in rhyme like I do?
