This Pain

This pain in my heart never seemed to go away Playing a bigger and bigger part with each new passing day And no matter what you do to try to get it under control This pain continually grew ending up taking a terrible toll All medications would fail and no therapy could cure It was a treacherous tail of which I couldn't take any more Every day was such a battle one which I could only lose That pain was like a saddle in not knowing the good news With so little left inside and no where else to turn I just broke down and cried in feeling that yearn Falling down to my knees and bowing my head I offered up my pleas and began praying in my head And in that moment just as soon as I started That pain just went and all those feelings departed Opening up my eyes and then looking up above I finally came to realize I was missing God's love
