This Mother's Soul - My Lovely Children Contest

Oh, my boy never saw the sky, It was up to Heaven, he had to fly. Now, my baby dwells in a tomb, There in summer, pretty flowers bloom. Oh, thank you God for my sister, Troy, was a real awesome little mister. Babysitting him was real fun, When we heard his mom, to bed he would run. Oh, sister thanks for the princess, Celine, was such an adorable sweet misses. I loved to tell her a goodnight fairy tale, And brush and brush her hair into a ponytail. Oh, Troy has become a kind man, Celine, a gentle girl, of both I am a big fan. Still that baby boy beneath the soil, Will forever, ever be in this Mother's soul. ____________________________ February 9, 2016 Poetry/Couplet/This Mother's Soul Copyright Protected, ID 16-755-059-0 All Rights Reserved. Even though family is around it still I would think the grief of losing a child would be very deep to accept. Your poem flows so smoothly . Congratulations on your “My Lovely Children” contest win, Broken Wing!!! Hugs Eve

Sage, thanks for your compassion, yes, I am so lucky for my sisters kids, and she is the most wonderful mother, it makes me so proud of her, although my heart is with that baby boy, sometimes my sister and I go together, she knows the pain in my heart and we each lay a red rose for him....
