This Morning
Good morning sunshine let yourself in the sky
If I should give all, would you let me cry?
And could you save me from this it is
Down here where you came to me
Descend to my arms you let that tear go
Good night sunshine, good morning moonlight
Pray for me, I am unstable but still your son
Insanity rules my thumbs to savor the sleep
In pretending you ever loved me I sat content
So the killer called my name, out on his own
He called me a liar and broke the day
The rays came as they always do
For the days still come
But this day's different, forget yourself
It's merely a figment of fantasy
Now that you awoke in sweat
Cold and hungry you cry alone this morning
