This Isn'T the Greatest Poem About Not Crying In the World Or Even a Tribute

Wrote a poem on the study of tears It became an essay on self worth (Insert dramatic howl that is inaudible and undetectable here) I could draw your attention to something erudite to demonstrate my point But I have nothing - just some undercurrents of sadness I can't shake It seemed such a good idea at the time too, but I seem to have wrapped myself up into a non crying, holder in of emotion Lachrymology - unscientific and unhelpful I can advise thinking about not crying is miserable, I'm not a fan of the 'good cry' and I have in my repertoire 'all consuming crying' - maybe that's what is putting me off (Insert jolly ending to poem here, I just ate loads of marshmallows and chocolate buttons and drank a bottle of posh cherry cola)

You have the most spontaneous mind, takes one on so many interesting rides...this is what is so compelling about your poetry DD. After reading I need something a little stronger than a cherry cola.

Haha thank you Paul - that's why I went for a fancy version, although a follow up poem might be about not filling yourself with sugar if in a mood! I appreciate your wonderful comment - this is another of my 'should I bin it' poems, but posting it to see how it sat was tried instead.
