This Is the Day the Lord Gave
This is the day the Lord gave
When I had lost all the hope,
Setting sun was sending orange to sky,
Depressing thoughts were hugging me close,
Mindless and weightless did my soul fly,
An unending wait in the darkest cave,
Golden fishes spreading their fins,
Then came the day that Lord gave,
Insinuating life into the mannequin,
Today living my life to the full,
Await unfolding His many gifts like seagull!
