Every sound I hear, every word I say I know it all was planned that way. Everything I touch, all the things I see That’s the way it was meant for me. Everything I am, all the things I do That’s the way it was planned by You. I am happy with my life Because I know You are there. I know how much You love me And I know how much You care. When things go wrong and nothing seems right I remember Your promise, I see the light. I look to the sky way up past the stars I know You can hear me wherever You are. Please make my life what You want it to be All I want is for You to be proud of me. To say, “This is My creation, this is part of My soul.” Once my life was empty Till You came and made it whole. I know that I could never live Not knowing of Your love. Or without the hope and peacefulness You send from above. For my life is built around You And the things You have created. Everything I love so dearly now Seems to be what I once hated. You’ve shown me a new side of life You’ve helped me find a better way. I no longer live for tomorrow Or reach back to yesterday. I see so many people Throwing their lives away. But I enjoy each moment And I live for each new day. Now that I have found You I can never let You go. I will spread Your love around the world So that others too may know How wonderful it is to have Your spirit in their heart. To know that they may come to You And never have to part. I know that I can count on You To listen and to care. For I know that You have promised me When I need You. You will be there.
