This Is a Love Letter
She rocked back and forth in rhythm with her music
A discordant cacophony of pounding static
Her face spoke of constant misery in it's lines
An ink-covered angel with a well practiced smile
I wish I knew how to fill the hole inside of her
She breaks under the weight of that empty space
Even if it broke me, even if it destroyed me
I'd sell my empty soul to save her
