This Day (Angel of Sadness)
Once this day and never more
Some of us dream
The remainder of us put together wishes
Of the things we only hope to achieve
Sometimes we hold our hands out
Knowing undoubtly what we may receive
One sweet day and nothing more
My tribulations in association
With this unwritten documentation
To go forth as a hero
One has to be able to do what other can not
Place your eyes upon this image
A mirror of what man has forgotten
It’s a stairway to heaven
Seems I choose to cruise this highway to hell
I’ll overcome these obstacles
Even if it is my day to fail
I’m giving you one day and nothing more
We move along with the proper assist
Returned values become this robber’s only gift
Breakfast is what we miss
Having lunch as an old man without your kiss
Gave it all up, to have dinner with wife and kids
Torn between the usual traces
People, places, unseen faces
Once more this day and never again
