This Band of Gold

This Band of Gold, I got it when I was so young, Still on my finger now I am old, This Band of Gold. This Band of Gold, Has bound us together, Through all kinds of weather, This Band of Gold. This Band of Gold, Bringer of Laughter, Bringer of tears, This Band of Gold. This Band of Gold, Our house became a home, Our family it would hold, Because of this Band of Gold. © Dave Timperley. Sounds about right to me Anne-lise. It also becomes a history book and we can all learn from history. There is a new poet on The Soup called Bohari Mohammad, writing some deep stuff , worth a look. God Bless. Dave.
