Thirst
One drop of tear from my eyes holds many words
Accompanied by heartfelt sighs.
It comes as sad as it could,
Anytime, anywhere, anyhow it is sad in all ways.
I thought much more of you
Than you ever thought of me,
In the breaking light of dawn, or in the night,
You are the one that holds the key.
It is to know that I've lost my place on this earth,
That's the thing about pain it demands to be felt,
It scares the *****out of me to be this lonely
Because it seems catastrophic.
I walk around with a giant hole in my heart all the time,
I feel your absence every second of the day,
Even when a river of tears courses through this body,
The flame of love cannot be quenched.
