Thinking Back
Wondering aloud in her mind
what hath I done with all the
time?
Ere even garnered dime all spent
in disregard of winter's gloom
a mental marathon it would be
to account for contents of that
inventory
Checking over the 55 years a
arduous task
one best done with
an ominous eye for many bleak
errors may present
Though one hopes that
balance favors the good
Only an by inward observant eye
And a servant in bringing to peace that all
done or past was of some value
to all or none.
