Things Have Changed
Beauty queen of just nineteen
Your gorgeous smile lights my day
They say: "Give up, don't even bother"
But I just cannot keep away
Bewitching eyes, angelic contour
You cast your spell so graciously
Heart skips a beat just like it's ought to
When ever you are near me
Tell me, tell me you're the best I have seen
I can't help but imagine how it could have been
I still live in that kingdom built of thin air
Your presence around me is so hard to bear
All week long he longs to see her
To bask in her sunshine, to look in her eyes
All days long he misses her dearly
And paints her picture in the midnight skies
Tell me, tell me you're the best I have seen
I can't help but imagine how it could've been
I still live in that kingdom built of thin air
Your presence around me is too hard to bear
But things have changed, I have a new passion
And you haven't changed and you drift out of fashion
I waited too long and I've had enough
You pretend not to care but I see through your bluff
Tell me, tell me I'm the best you have seen
There's no need to imagine how it could have been
Didn't think it could happen, I'm sorry, it's true
But this heart no longer is beating for you
