Thin Ice

I'm not quite sure where I should begin We are all on ice that has grown thin When the Polar Bears have become extinct Will that be the time we all start to think? With the ice melting the ocean will rise The cause of flooding cannot be disguised Artic animals provided us a warning Now it's our people that we are mourning Still we all choose to keep heads in the sand Not listening to what our Scientists demand So we are the Authors of our own demise Not caring for Polar Bears isn't very wise

Yes, when we would ever wake up and take some actions? Wish the government would post something for individuals to do and just to take charge. I feel until there is an dire urgency, no one is going to do anything :(

Great warning, Richard. Well put! We are our own worst enemies. Heaven help us! Thanks for the great poem on a serious topic! Bear hugs! ;) PS Is there a subject/verb agreement issue in line 3? #justwondering

If only we could find a way to keep them small and cuddly. Oops your right this is a serious topic. Maybe we can draw attention to the problem with humor.
