We
We're
Born to live
Born to die
But not like this
So unexpectedly so
We were young
We were old
We were full
Of life
We were in
Love in love
With all
They stole our
Hearts
But not our souls
Nor our spirits
We will live On
For all eternity
To see
They came by way
On magic carpets
Riding wayward winds
From the middle east
With ideology beliefs
Concepts not understood
They did
Handshakes and smiles
Creeping like snakes
In the grass
Bombs between
Their legs
They tried to break
And shake us
Killing countless
People
For what
They don't understand
Our beliefs our ways
Perhaps they just don't
Give a damn
But you see
We have Faith
Faith in our Lord
Faith in our fellow
man
So we will continue
To strive for this thing
We call freedom
A passion for survival
Of freedom for one
Freedom for
All..
