At the express lane in the local supermarket Don't try getting through with one over the limit Dirty looks you will get And bad mouthing I'll bet They'll push stuff on the floor and stomp on your spinach © Jack Ellison 2015

If you get caught... That horrid behavior will not be your lot... If they put you on the spot... Just say you're Santa Jack hurrying home to finish the list of the naughty... Then hand out a few Limmericks from LimmerJack you brought... Then give a loud HoHoHo as you run off and fear not...

Maybe if you flash your grin....they'll let slide your little sin....they'll buy yer greens....and throw in some beans....and might ask you over for a game of gin (wink)
