They Do Not Love Who Do Not Show Their Love
Will Shakespeare in the long ago
Proved self to be a twice wise sage.
His words are just as apt today
As when first written on a page.
Each mother who loves new born child
Has shown her love with sharpest pain.
She welcomes him with loving arms,
With no fear would feel pain again.
"They do not love who do not show their love"
Words quoted by the famous bard.
A father goes to work each day
Showing his love by working hard.
A lover loves and shows his love,
Turning blind eye to all but her.
As she returns his faithfulness
They can be sure love will endure.
"They do not love who do not show their love"
As true today as it was then
When Shakespeare wrote it down in ink
And proved his wisdom once again.
