They Desire My Soul
Karma visited me last night
To settle my unpaid score
The piper had his hand out
And said I owed him so much more
The boatman was there also
Ready to sail me to my destiny
But he waited for the angel off death to strike
And drive me to my knees
I saw the heavenly angels
Who have waged war for me for years
Their will to fight had ended
Leaving me alone to face my fears
And then old Satan ambled by
A smile was on his face
If I would just sign the dotted line
He would seal my eternal fate
But I remembered I had a savior
Who died to set me free
Because I trust in him alone
These enemies have no hold on me.
