There's None So Blind
There’s none so blind, or so they say
as those who will not see.
But are you really positive
what sight is meant to be.
For seeing with a blinkered eye
though sometimes quite a pain,
could also be the very thing
that gives us more to gain.
There’s even times when seeing nought
could help us with our life,
if what we saw, would only lead
to future pain and strife.
They also say, in land of blind
the one-eyed man is King,
so maybe only seeing half
gives better songs to sing.
Maybe it isn’t what we see
that makes the sighted blind,
but how we see the things we see
when pictured in our mind!
