There Upon the Cross
With any problem or worry, any hurt or complaint
I give it to Him in a hurry before I grow feint
Any need will no longer be, any anger will quell
In setting your mind free, you're mind shall be well
He accepts it all for no problem is too large
There is never too great a fall for the Lord's in charge
No matter where you may be He is right by your side
Look upon the Cross and see as for your sins He died
Whenever I may feel down or as happy as I can be
I think of the thorns in that crown in knowing because of me
My knees tremble so weak and tears flow from my eyes
For even as I seek my own heart full of lies
But He is in every part each moment of my day
Though sometimes it may be tart in losing my way
For I see His great Light and know what I must do
For Him I do right, His love keeping me true
