There is Nothing Romantic About the Way I Feel

Night and day I think about you. You’ve tightly bound the wrists of my self control And grabbed my fevered dreams by the throat. I try to forget what my body knows But it betrays me every time. Your skin it breathes me in and it breathes me out My sweat cannot drown the force of your body As it shudders in time with mine. I am drunk the moment my name leaves your lips And instantly I've forgotten all my former vows I have forgotten all my former lives. There is nothing romantic about the way I feel for you. I have no need for your love, what I want from you is not tender or sweet. I found the violent struggle that was living within you I teased it, I touched it, I gently kissed it here. Now I beg it to devour me, to show me what it means to fear.
