There Is Magic In Poetry

There is magic in poetry The way a poet’s wrist twists with a flair There is magic also in the air Writing tool used like a threaded spool Amidst the midnight blue That’s what we do in school There is magic in poetry Spinning thoughts like cobweb Expressed in words of rhyme Provocation of rhythm All on a piece of birch wood paper Writing while twirling one’s hair There is magic in poetry

Yes there's magic in poetry! And the poet is ever spelled by its wonders! The poet's word is not a mere voice echoed in the hearts of avid readers.. it is a sword that carves acts of valour.. it is a wand that turns everything into an unreachable Beauty! A great pleasure to read your poetry, Rukhsana.. Regards and blessings.
