There Is a God You Know

There is a God you know, I feel it in my heart. My soul is going there to him when we have to part. Take a tree and make it grow, hide the sun and its glow. Make a mother born a child, tame the beast from the wild. Move a mountain across the state, even change the hand of fate. All these things man can do, and we prove it, that is true. But what gave us these powers all combined? Seek the truth of which you'll find. What gave us this power, just a seed? Much more my friend, God and his creed. For without the seed to fill life's need, these things can not be done. So you see, it is plain to me, he surely exist, God must be. A supreme power sure and true, that gave the seed of life to me and you. I know he is there waiting for me, and when I go, with him I'll be. There is a God you know, I feel it in my heart.
