I walked the field where others trod history buried,'neath this sod Forbears of nature,above and below now in scenes of beauty glow Alive with flowers,insects,birds on wing below,death's voices,no more sing Yet once,the opposite were true when this same moment,for them,was new

Some times I fell like poetry is pasta.. its all the same but comes in different forms....Are you Italian? lol, anyways I like this a lot...what makes it a couplet... just two lines...What makes a good couple t? Hope to hear from you....

Wonderful couplet.. ring true for readers to reflect and remember... thankxxx for sharing tonight... Linda-Marie... had no heat for 3 days so I am frozen solid right now.. new unit just installed so catching up on my poetry friends works... its 18 degrees in New Jersey today and has been chilling cold here... wind chills below zero.. nice to feel warmth again... blessings.. luv...
