Their Place

Their Place By Lord R.e. Taylor They met under a blessed star Loving together for sixty years Every night they shared a cup of tea And a view of their paradise When the end came, they were together Holding hands and looking at each other Their love showed as they took their last breaths That was many, many years ago And many people shared their paradise But that table, those chairs, and their cups They still look out and they wait Looking for another couple so much in love Another couple who will spend their lives together Drinking tea and just being with each other © Poem – X/XX/MMXXI
