Their Marriage Lasted 388 Days

Their marriage lasted three hundred and eighty-eight days. This was two hundred and eight days longer than most thought it could. I showed this number to those who had predicted six months. Gloating a bit for I had figured it would last a bit over a year. So many losses though; a grandma and a grandpa losing their grandchildren now. Too bad the grandchildren were hugged and cajoled into this marriage. Sadly, their lives may never be the same, now that their new grandparent is gone. Does anyone ever think about the children when they go into these things?

I truly wonder about that, Caren. I have a feeling the answer is no...too often they do not.

I have had so many sad children come to me who can no longer "see their new grandparent" because the couple divorced. It is very sad.
