The Ying and Yang of Sisterhood
When I was beaten down at a new low
she lifted me up from the depths below.
When I fell quite ill she was always there
with a helping hand, giving love and care.
Tho each different, our moods would collide,
but down deep, our love we could never hide.
When from time to time we would live apart
we always kept each other in our heart.
And now we live together once again,
in our old age, let the patience begin.
We’ve learned to let humor temper it all
with a kind word if the other might fall.
Sisters made stronger, as if we were one
from our first breath, the connection begun.
