My dead self in The flowerbed, grey As a marbleized salamander Beneath a bleed of acorn roots I placed the devil mask Over the fireplace, counter Spell so to speak. Then came the kicker- my wife Chopping down the tiger lilies As I drove up the driveway After a bad day.
