The Wrong and the Right
THE WRONG and THE RIGHT
There is a time to let him know
what you've kept secret for so long,
to light the candle, let it show,
forgetting if it's right or wrong;
though hidden for what time it's been,
in what you've guessed, as what can't be,
You must forget the wrong, and then,
show any right there is to see;
what cannot ever be is lost
to time that's never running out,
until you've heard and know the cost
of what this love is all about;
imagining the clock will pause
just long enough for you to see,
your love's about what never was
until your love was let to be.
Reach out, and see it in the light
of what your heart has never known,
Just let it be, the wrong, the right,
and love won't let you be alone.
