Cobalt clouds banked like fluffy snow Hang in the still quiet morn Wait for the sun to arise Stir hungry nature just born One lone swallow swoops high against the cloud laden gray sky. While the Mockingbirds vindictively chase earthbound bye-bye. The old poetess out on the porch Lingers a few minutes Jotting another quick line Loves nature; inspired by it There is a coolness that feels great It will pass around eight Each moment is precious, hours scarce The clock ticks down one's fate

I have a hard time convincing myself, that someone with your talent has a problem finding inspiration. Sitting on a porch and watching nature would seem to be an endless source of inspiration. I really like your poem Mrs Sara and respect your talent immensely.

Daniel, Thanks for the kind review..I do get in a slump sometimes..I guess it could be a slightly depressed feeling that overcomes as most people do have that happen from time to time..Sara
