The Worthwhile

When life has given a turn or a split on the road The walk is very confusing and frustrating A change is more critical and sometimes painful The idea of being you is masked along the way Nothing seems right in this choice that change Wishing for a straight narrow path everyone wants Wants in this life is not equal to what you need I believe I made choices that can be regrettable Undeniable, and mostly unexpected in my life I turn ahead to look before I make the choice Sometimes hesitant and meager to know The outcome which lie in the turn or split path Afraid that I have fallen in the walk of life This method is a learning point and a device Device of horrific trauma that next time The choice you make will be so, so, so right I am deep in thought when I notice time Time has passed long enough and making change Noting everything is part of the way to look back Never really leaving that path, the path is narrow Narrow as the line that you record on paper Records of the journey in life is pointed out Many, many times that you realize that change Friends, family, growth, the world has its will No choice but to walk every path with intent Some will lead and some will stray, and that is the way But your choice your light is your way to see In the path or destiny, frankly life is all about choice Life is all about change, a quiver of breath that might hurt Accepting life is hard; making your own path is hard Wondering if spending time with the right people Waking up to the right side of the bed, and hope Everyday a moment that people breathe in your air Is even yours to breathe you wonder, but this is life To see people, animals, and plants grow to full It is the curve in the path or split on the road That changes every day without control of your will Just to see things in life is the worthwhile the change
