The Worth of Your Pride

So many people broken; bent, and hobbled. Crippled and on their knees. Praying and pleading and begging, asking to be shown mercy, or asking to surrender. What I want to know about you, is do your spirits buckle? And at what point do you break? Is it dependant on the weight you carry, or is it the weight life puts upon you? Our bodies are meant for survival; We are made to endure and to withstand. Did you only realize who I was at the very moment I walked out that door? And who are you to determine the worth of your pride?
