The World of Geriatrics

Elderly people
Ridiculously fussing over nothing
Inventing crazy stories
Attempting to get over bed rails
Trails of body waste on the floor
Repeating questions over and over
Insisting on being toileted when they can't walk
Commanding to have their backs scratched.
Sweet souls that need to be taken care of.

Yes, people need loving the most when they are deserving it the least..If you think it is bad looking after them wait until you get to be them..Enjoyed reading this one today..Sara

This is a very hard job! I understand how difficult this occupation is.Alot of people don't even think about it.It is so very trying on your patience.Just think of it as a hope that you will have some kind, and understanding person such as yourself when you get older. Hang in there! :o)

This sounds like a very demanding occupation, but with rewards. A nice poetric tribute.
