The World In My Hands (Intro)

I’ve got the whole world in my hands, And I don’t have a clue what to do. I’ve got the whole world in my hands, And I believe it includes you. I’ve got the whole world in my hands, I could throw it in a pit of fire. I’ve got the whole world in my hands, It might end up strangled with wire. Imagine yourself brittle and weak, Holding the world on your back. At some point you were stronger, Until the world fell all out of whack. Here you stand with everyone’s burdens, And you can’t lie; you love tem all. One cruel intention inside your mind, Came true, and made everything fall. I’ve got the whole world in my hands, I’ve got the choice to make it safe. I’ve got the whole world in my hands, I want it in some happy place. (This is the introduction to a new poetic novel I am just starting to write.)

nice thought, the end of the intro negates the whole point of view of the verse before, and that makes it lovely.... cheers oscar
