The Winter Solstice
The winter light of solstice glows in white.
Demure as any clouded sky could be.
With trees all twigs going off into the distance
and people breathing lightly as is free.
Where winter's now arriving in a hush
and hearts won't beat more loudly for.
That spirits building slowly in our hearts
means peace will likely come along to soar.
While winter's mood is making us uneasy.
Perhaps for bringing fear to common thought.
Uncertain of the future we'll be making.
In truth to fill in life with what we've got.
