The Winter Season
The winter has come to NYC
The workers are working
Businessmen are making their final phone calls of the day
I bought a lottery ticket
But, alas, I did not win
Well, I see that NYC is running like clockwork
Buses and subways on time
Holidays will be celebrated
and gifts exchanged
Winter in NYC
Icy sold winds refresh the spirit!
Headed over to the local coffee shop
Saw some acquaintances - attended a Chanukah party
Drank green tea - the elixir of life!!
So we forge ahead, poets!
Damn the critics - forward with your verse!
